weekend at the beach

I posted some pictures I took at the beach this past weekend. There aren't alot up there right now but as soon as I go through the rest I'll post some more. 

I had a wonderful time at the beach. I know they showed on the news that we were getting terrible rains w/ lightening & thunder but honestly it was either late morning or during the night that it was happening. Most of the day we were on the beach enjoying the surfing & boogie boarding w/ little to no rain at all. But man those waves were nice!

Oh & guess what....  

MY SON IS COMING HOME!!!

He has been stationed in Guam for the past 2 1/2 years & the only time I get to see him is in pictures (that are rarely sent) and most of those have a girl in it or he was intoxicated. But....

He will be here in August and I think I am going to take EXTRA time off work. All work, no jobs, no school, no house cleaning, no yard work, NO WORK PERIOD! but on August 15th...

MY SON IS COMING HOME!!!

I am very happy for you. I know how you feel, since my son was in the Army. You miss them so much, but the joy you feel when you know they are coming home, is almost to much to handle.

BTW: Loved the pictures.

Thank you all for your comments.... Yes I am overly excited to the point my other 2 children are tired fo hearing about him coming home. I am so glad to hear there are others whose children are coming home, that makes it even better. As for him being intoxicated in most of his pictures... His commanding officer is the one who sends them to me! Funny how different the military is now compared to what it was like when I grew up in it. Anyway..... thanks again everyone. Let me know what you all think about the pictures!

I don't think I have but a couple of photos of my son without a Corona in his hands...BTW, I believe we just had another 100 NC National Guardsmen come home this week. Welcome home, heroes!

Good deal on your son coming home. Guam...that must suck as a duty station! (By the way, most of my pictures from my time in service, I'm drunk! It happens. He'll grow out of it!)
