Good Wed morning to you GOLOers and happy HUMP day to each and every one of you! I have a question and I just want to see what your opinions are on it. I rent. I had some refrigerator issues. It was leaking water or dripping water. I think it was coming from the freezer to the bottom part. In any event I called my rental office and put in a maintenance request on Friday. I get home last night and go to see if they came and to my surprise I see a brand new refrigerator in the kitchen. It is a thousand times smaller and they took ALL my food out of it and put it in the new one. Why does this bother me? I mean, if they would have called me and said, hey, your fridge is bad and we are going to replace it are you able to come and empty it or do you mind if we do? I would have taken off work to do this. The idea of the lawn/maintenance men inside my refrigerator disturbs me. Have you ever heard of such or is it really not that big of a deal? Brutal honesty is all I ever expect on this board so go ahead and let me have it! 8-)

I swear, the chicks that ran the rental office were swiping them. They even still had tags on them.

The rest seems normal enough.
I agree, though, with the break from renting. Move out asap!

mocha, i know what you're saying. it's a bit freaky, but like you said, everything was new and wrapped up. it was all sitting in an aisle at the grocery store wrapped up, and at least several people touched it there too. i don't think you have anything to worry about here. by the way, congrats on the new fridge. usually it's like pulling teeth to get anything new out of a landlord...
