you know you're going to have a........
Published Jul. 22, 2008Have you ever stepped out of bed in the morning and can just sensed how the day was going to go? Maybe you woke up late and ended up being late for work only to get flagged by the boss. Or maybe it was a bad hair day that followed you around the entire day. Or maybe it was just "that mood" you woke up in that made your day go poorly. But whatever you have awoken to that ended up ruling the day, please share it. I don't want to be the only one experiencing these tell-tale signs of how a day's going to unfold....
Here's one of mine morning events that seemed to have been a sign of the times a few days ago.....I woke up a little late one morning, but I still had plenty of time to get ready and make it to work on time. But I have to have my daily dose of coffee every day or else.... With no time to lose, I got out of bed, ran into the kitchen and got the coffee going, then continued to get dressed. A bit later, with shoes on and ready to go, I head back into the kitchen and to my surprise I forgot to put the coffee holder into the coffee pot...and all I had in the coffee pot was hot water. I didn't have time to make more, so I decided to just stop at the local Kangaroo for a cup. Well, I get there and there was no coffee, only empty pots. By now, I was getting pretty sore-minded, quietly calling that sorry worker a name or two under my breath. So I hop back in my car empty-handed and head on off to work. I was mad all day because of not getting my caffine fix that morning. Seems that nothing went right and the clock was in slow motion all day.
OK...your turn...You know it's going to be a bad day when__________.
OR
You know it's going to be a good day when ___________.

But I appreciate that it's not as bad as it could be.

Made - I understand the coffee thing. I'm the same way. No coffee, no dice.
Shine, wow! I hope you feel better soon.
Ginger - Sympathy from me. Don't like bugs, spiders, creepy-crawly things in general. Ug! I have this mental image of the bugs stuck in the new paint.
I know it isn't going to be the best day when my eyes pop open at 2 a.m. and I don't go back to sleep until about an hour before the alarm goes off.

♫♫ You're coming back down and you really don't mind
