the thing that drives me nuts about my co-worker

Good late morning GOLO. It is Monday. We all made it thru the weekend (at least, I hope we did). There was an article on MSN that had stories of people venting about their krazy co-workers. I thought it could be amusing to tell stories about our co-workers.

 

Please dont use real names..LOL..dont want to get anyone in trouble.

I have a co-worker who talks to herself...and even laughs out loud. I guess she's telling herself something funny.

I had one that would drink coffee from the time she arrived until the time to go home. Not a problem, right? She would ask for help with a problem, get the answer, walk away and be back in 2 mins because she forgot what the answer was. She would do this 5-10 times for that one question. When she messed up her data 20 mins after that, she would deny she was ever given the "correct" way to fix her problem. She was always antsy like she had ADD. Of course, it was all of the caffeine she was drinking. Got to the point I finally told her she didn't need anymore coffee for the day! Of course, she went and told the manager I was being rude but we had already told him about HER! She was gone within two weeks of that incident.

I used to work in an office with an employee who was doing their internship. She knew it all, or so she thought. She was only 24 years old and arrogant to the max. One day she decided to proof read a report I had written and took it upon herself to correct spelling. The computer didn't have a macro for legal terms so she sounded these Latin terms out, according to her really deep southern accent. Nothing was right. The only thing that saved my rump that day was the log in on the computer showed her ID and that she corrected the report. The head of the department asked her if she had ever heard of "Black's?" She denied she knew of it. He then went to her desk and showed her"Black's." Black's Dictionary of Legal Terms. She didn't last long after that.

I have a co-worker that will sweep the showroom floor and sweep it into the office I share with another co-worker. How rude is that!

I had a co-worker who would stand there and talk on and on forever no matter how busy everyone else was. Funny thing, though: any time anyone else tried to tell a story, suddenly she had no time to hear it and we were bothering her.

I have one that whistles. His self-conscious too, so you have to be so careful what you say around him. You never know what might set the ticking time bomb off. So it's an unspoken rule that you don't say a word about the whistling you just put up with it.

Used to have a female co-worker that was very overweight and very self concious about it. Invariably, every day, she would put me on the spot and ask me "Do you think I'm unattractive?" or "Do you think I'm really fat?" I knew it would hurt her feelings if I told her the truth, so I always lied.

Well Mocha my co-worker feels that way also and even though our budget has been cut she feels she should get another raise even though she is only part time and asks for almost every Friday and Saturday off. She has even went through the calender up untill October to write down all days off that she wants including days off to get her hair done.

I remember once I dropped my lighter in the trash and went to get it out and my hand hit her snuff spit...I haven't been the same since. I almost threw up!! That's whenI asked her to get a spit bottle.
