Dr. Horrible's Single A Long Blog
CALLING ALL JOSS WHEDON FANS!
You only have till the end of this weekend to watch Joss Whedon's latest creation - 3 web episodes of Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long blog.
It is fantastically funny, typical Joss Whedon witty one liners and still the serious undertone of love is pain - as is in everything Joss has done.
Has to make you wonder who hurt him this bad for him to be this good at it.
Whatever the cause, this is a MUST SEE for Whedon Fans. As is with most things of his, you either like his style or you don't.
This comes from the fact he was pized at the writers strike and the way that the industry handles the process and how the entertainment industry gives it out to the public. So he decided to do his own production at very low cost.
You can watch it till tomorrow for free. After that, he'll release it for download on iTunes for a small fee and eventually will be released on DVD.
He wants this to be successful to stiffle the unions and curtail the entertainment industry's stifling of creativity. I'm sure a lot of this also goes back to the way that he got skrewed by FOX on Firefly and how they tried to change is show.
After you watch, you can go see his "Master plan" which will explain all this in more detail. LOL He even has a comic.

what does "PLEASE GO SEE. HELP Joss make this successful! Anything to stop Unions of anykind!!!!" have to do with anything though? I thought Joss Whedon was a union activist.

Once upon a time, all the writers in the forest got very mad with the Forest Kings and declared a work-stoppage. The forest creatures were all sad; the mushrooms did not dance, the elderberries gave no juice for the festival wines, and the Teamsters were kinda pized. (They were very polite about it, though.) During this work-stoppage, many writers tried to form partnerships for outside funding to create new work that circumvented the Forest King system.
