jerry-75: blog jeremiah's blog
check out this juicy gossip!!
Published Jul. 18, 2008It really is amazing how gullible people are. I completely understand people not liking Obama and being against his policies and not wanting him to be the President of the U.S. But its unbeleivable how many people have been had and beleive the false information that circulates the web. Please people, wake up.
Be against Obama, hate Obama, whatever, that's fine. But don't base your opinions on lies. Obama is NOT a muslim. Obama was NOT sworn in on the Quran (that was congressman Keith Ellison, who is a muslim), and Obama does NOT refuse to say the pledge of allegiance. This is all false. Please people, use some common sense.
I posted this in a story, and thought it might be a good idea to post it as a blog.
And yes, I realize it happens on the other end too.

CNN, ABC, NBC and other liberal media outlets are in love with Obama.
There is really very little that FoxNews and conservative talk radio can do to derail Obama's march to the White House.
Obama has more to worry about form those who claim to support him (Jesse Jackson for starters).
While there are a large number of people who believe that Obama is or was a Muslim, those people weren't going to vote for him anyway.
This election is his to lose. If he loses, he has no one to blame but himself.

A while later, I got the same email from a very good, close friend. She had been sending alot of forwards about border control and illegal aliens, which I read, but didn't respond or forward. When I sent the same response to her that I had sent to my dad, she took me off her list, and has not "spoken", either through email or by phone, since. We were basically excluded from her wedding, but, she did contact my girlfriend and nonchalantly invited us to a party/reception Mother's Day weekend, when my son graduated from college and prevented us going.
Moral?? We have polarized ourselves and become so determined to dictate our beliefs, that we lose ourselves in the process.

Not to be too argumentative, but I think that repubs do hold the marketing on fear mongering. PRove me wrong.
