earning disney dollars
Published Jul. 17, 2008Were are going to Disney World in September for 9 days and wanted a way to put a limit on souviners for our son. Hubby came up with a great idea of our son earning Disney Dollars for chores and good deeds around the house, what ever he earns he takes and spends how ever he wants (given that we would purchase the autograph book, and a pair of ears), and when he is out, he is out. Our allotments for chores is kind of high (because we knew how much we wanted to give him, and we only have x weeks until trip). It has worked out great! I have not fed our cats in 3 weeks and his room has stayed clean. I will let you know how it works when we get back in the end of Sept.

If the kid earns the money, it's his and he can do with it as he dang well pleases...unless some liberal gets to it first.
You don't provide an opportuntity for your kids to earn but tell them how much of someone else's (yours in this case) money they allowed to have or just simply give them nothing.
And that my freedom loving friends is liberalism in a nut shell.
