I am the widow of a Vietnam Veteran who got no help for his flashbacks. I raised my son on my own without welfare help, nor military help since he was kicked out the army instead of getting help from the Vietnam experience.
I was raised on common sense and a lot of spunk for taking care of yourself. I've lived in Florida, California, Oregon but raised in NC.....
The doctor's put me out to pasture in 2002 after my stroke. I have beaten cancer twice and had an artificial heart valve so don't tell me God doesn't have a plan for me. I'm not sure what it is yet.
When I left school they had just invented electric typewriters so I had the great experience of learning what a computer is this past year.
Until a few years ago I was one boogie woogie woman. I worked everyday and boogied every weekend. I miss that.
I try to get along with everyone but there are about three or four on here who just love to pick and ridicule me and that used to worry me, until I realized it is their loss and not mine for not getting to know me. I've seen so much on Golo the past year nothing surprises me.
i hope all my Golo friends have a good weekend.
