neighborhood poll
Published Jul. 17, 2008Ok, fellow residents of Governor's Village, who is your cell phone provider? Do you get really good coverage, strong signal, minimal dropped called, etc inside your homes, or just out in the neighborhood? I'm up to "here" w/my current provider and I am really interested to know if anyone has a positive experience w/a provider before I try to switch.

I think you are right about alltel. We have some friends who visit and they seem to be able to use their phones freely. I should have tried them before verizon. You are probably right about the roaming issue as well but at least for the ancient cingular/att plan I have, I really have to go somewhere far away to get socked w/roaming fees so I haven't found that to be a problem.

I hear that. I haven't been under contract in ages but I just can't find anyone to replace them. I haven't tried alltel yet, so maybe I will eventually.

Service is fine in Raleigh. Although I live in the sticks so at home service is in/out.
