And yes, women do it too.
God bless.

My wife is 17 years older than I. My grandson's girlfriend is 12, he's 14. This is ludicrous in a state where it is perfectly OK to marry at the age of 13.
In fact, I prefer to be a great grandfather when he is 14 so the kid can be raised while he is going to school. It is a no brainer folks. We are all going to die - no one leaves this world alive.

Go to the link, then click on "search the nc registry" on the top bar.
fill in the blank on "find offenders near your address" and click on "find address".
A map shows up defaulted at 3 miles from your residence. You can select 1 or 5 miles. The pentagon signs are the locations of each registered offender.
Click on any pentagon, and the following information comes up: -photo/s of subject, -name, address, physical descriptors, -offender information, -conviction information, -address history.
If you click on the DOC logo, it will take you to the corrections web site with that subject information, and will give you a little more detail of the charges, sentencing, disposition, etc.
Those steps will give you all the information on the sexual offender registry and the department of correction info.

I think the more info this group can dig out and publish the more educated we can become about this whole topic. I strongly encourage them to do so and believe they are capable of making actual change in their corner of the world for something they are passionate about - I applaud that and know you do too!
Now leave me alone Steve, I gotta work :-)

Anytime you see rape charges and the "victim" is not a stranger, or indecent liberities with a minor charges, just think Duke Lacrosse and Edenton Day Care center. That will snap you back to reality real quick.

Frankly, I don't give a krap about an offender's side of the story if he has received due diligence legally and evidence has proven his guilt. If you want to give him that courtesy, feel free. For myself - if he is a convicted Sex Offender, especially of any child, and evidence has proven his act then I will let man's law deal with him and the mercy of the cross extend to him - I want nothing to do with him.

Better yet, why don't you people perform true due diligence. Go talk to the DAs office in the respective counties. And then go talk to the offender to get their side of the story.
