Give 'em an inch and they want a mile. The govt tried its best to better a crime ridden neighborhood and get slapped in the face for it, HA!

Fast-forward 4 years and I was driving a busload of inmates from Wake Correctional to Central Duplicating Plant. As I drove the bus down E. Lenior St. and past the project (Chavis Heights) everyone of the people sitting on their porches cheered the inmates. It was as if they were a pro sports team passing through town! Alas, there's the mentality of people who live in those types of places. Their heros are criminals.
