who has seen wall-e

Published Jul. 11, 2008

I went to see Wall-E with my boys and some friends this evening. Who else has seen this movie? I semi-enjoyed the movie. The reason I say semi is because someone else paid our ways in. Had I paid for me and my boys, I would not have enjoyed it because i would have been sitting there thinking of all the better things I could have been doing with the money. For instance I could have spent that money on cheese wiz, vanilla wafers, sardines, cool whip and tobasco sauce. I could have mixed these ingredients together and made a new desert that would have changed the way we look at fish in a can. Actually my Grand Father would eat  sardines and  dip vanilla wafers into the sardine juice like dunking an oreo in a glass of milk. Sorry for that visual image. The movie is kinda cute. The best part of the movie was when my 11 year old son sat in my lap and almost went to sleep.

Those of you who have seen the movie, let me know what  think about it.

I haven't seen it, but I must say I'm tempted. I saw excerpts last week from dueling conservative magazines/blog pages (the big name ones) arguing with each other over whether WALL-E reinforces 'conservative values' or is just another hollywood attempt to turn us all into tree-hugging liberals.

As for me, I'd go see it for what it is: A fine example of the animator's art and a nice, family friendly story.

Packa, all the kids who went with us enjoyed the movie. I do not get to go to very many movies in the theater so when I do go I want it to be a block buster. You will not find me in a cheesy chick flick because I want to make the most of my experience. You may enjoy this movie just fine. I would have preferred an Indian Jones/ Star Wars type movie much more or maybe a Tommy Blue/ Blues Brothers.

This was a great movie! My husband and I loved it. It was really cute.

Glad I saw this, we were gonna see it today... change of movies are in order I do believe.

This movie was so sweet!!! We had a great time watching it and I do know when it comes out on dvd we will own it as well. I did read a comment saying the kids enjoyed it more then the adults did, well I have to say maybe for you but I just thought it was so cute and really did enjoy the movie. Sometimes as an adult it is nice to see a movie that will make us smile, giggle, and even tear up even though it was made for "kids". Dont take life so serious people, you were a kid once to!

I loved it!

Good morning. Haven't been to see it. We need to do something though. The boys are having a pretty boring summer so far. In the past they have gone to work with me in the summer, but, as far as I know, those days are over.

lol. Some things that I have told them has come to pass and they were amazed. I try to prepare them now so that maybe, just maybe, we can avoid some things in the future. :D

I'm a mom, I have to at least try. ;)

Night yall

That's great eyes. The next time they say that write it on a calender and bring it out when they tell you that they don't want you around. LOL
