dragging on forever...

Thanks to everyone who has asked me if I got the car yet...NOT YET!!! I am still anxiously waiting.

I know I am an impatient person, but what on Earth could be taking so long? I really want this car and at a good price too.

I leave work @ 12 today b/c our Raleigh location has inventory and we are shutting the Youngsville branch down. I will not be back on until Monday...I will miss y'all!!!! HAPPY FRIDAY-HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! I WILL SHOW Y'ALL PICS OF THE NEW CAR ON MON IF I AM ABLE TO GET THEM TO FINANCE ON MY TERMS... :)

thanks golden-i called him this morning and he told me one hold up was that i needed to call back a finance co. for phone interview- i did that at 9am...ugh!!!!! why is it soooo difficult to buy a car?

Meh is right. They are going to try and focus you on payment and divert your attention from the price of the car and the rate. You probably won't get anywhere by calling and asking for the finance guy. He doesn't have as much to lose as your salesman. Now would be the right time to call your salesman and ask him what the hold up is. He'll tell you that he needs to check back with the finance guy and call you back. When and if he does, he's going to tell you a lie, probably. Then let him know that you are at XYZ Honda or something. They hate that. If they're going to do anything for you, that will speed them up.

yes, i am shopping around. i told them up front i have been looking @ other dealers, too. they were like oh, well we can get you whatever u want, just give us some time...i have slow credit which is probably why its taking so long...not a large dealership either, so theres not that many people working there to get things moving along...

we shopped around too....by the time i got to the toyota dealership i acted like i was totally ticked with the trade in value of their product.......the salesman was all but jumping at my beck n call.

Why aren't you shopping around? They can also work miracles if they think that the dealership down the street is gonna give you a better deal.

I got my car financed in a couple of hours, and I'm not rich, nor do I have flawless credit. Decent, but not flawless.
