Published Jul. 10, 2008I have a serious question......Yeah i know - not normal for me
My daughter will be starting kindergarten this August - She is 5 years and 3 months old - She has always been WAY ahead of where her peers were among speech, walking, everything!!!
I was sitting on the couch last night and she brought me a book that I know she hasn't memorized (she has a habit of that) She continued reading it and made it through the whole thing without even a stumble.......I am amazed at my daughter, as I am sure everyone is, and I know that she did not get this from my wife or I......She has memorized an 8 digit code(storage unit) only after a couple of times of me telling her and then still remembered it after a 6 month break........
My question is - Is she ahead of normal kindergarteners entering?
