After a quick visit to the house yesterday, we discovered that WE PASSED the insulation inspection as well as framing. So all of our rough-in is now complete. Next step, dry wall. We will begin in the kitchen so we can begin re-installing the kitchen cabinets (with just some minor changes on the cabinets).
Unless I'm mistaken, I think our next inspection will be a final and cert. of occupancy.
WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!
On a separate note, some of our tomatoe plants survived, as well as a couple of pepper plants. The watermellon plants are VERY happy and running all over the place. My basil pulled through and I think my oregano will as well. Lost the squash and one cucumber plant, though. We picked my daughters cabbage yesterday and plan to have that for supper today. She's so excited. We still don't have running water down there yet, so all of the plants are at the mercy of mother nature.
