Hey guys,
If you remember my last blog about the Korean guy taking a 49cc Ruckus Scooter and travelling the whole U.S. with it, I have a few updates.
His scooter is being given away in a raffle drawing on july 12th. Wan wanted to sell/raffle his scooter off and donate the money to the Make a wish foundation. The foundation advised them that it would take $6900 to pay for one kids wish.
Wan's scooter brought in an amazing $5214.70! The check is being over-nighted to Raleigh from Fayetville where some of Wan's friends are helping him get his donation to the Foundation.
I would say that selling a scooter with 10,000 + miles on it for over $5000 bucks is pretty awesome! I will be the first to say that I am a believer in having secure border's, but it is hard to deny that there are good/honest people that want to be here.
Drawing will be July 12th in Fayetville, I will keep you updated!
