When cruising the local strip ALL night may have cost you $10.00 in gas!!
All of this electric car stuff is useless...All we need to do is realize that it doesn't take a ten passenger 700 horsepower V-8 vehicle to take us where we want to go!!
Back in 85', Ford's muscle car only put out 205 horsepower yet it was a beast! and by 92' they had only increased it to 225 HP. That's 20 HP over seven years!!
There are four cylinder engines now that put out 285 horses and vehicles are lighter now than ever before... so why not start using these engines???
The answer is NOT electric cars....the answer is a four cylinder OPTION....if you want better gas mileage then go with the four, if not stick with the gas guzzler...
My bet is that if auto makers start putting four cylinders in their line ups the gas prices will come down, and come down fast...
Honda already does this with their Accord and that four cylinder @ close to 170 horses will get up and go, but still has great gas mileage. Iguess maybe that's why year in and year out they are one of the top money makers....
And MOST Hondas are made right here in the USA, so it is a win...win for everyone..

Ya know the engine in my Nissan is /technically/ half of the 302 from 90-92, on steroids.
