greatest song of all time
Published Jun. 30, 2008Ok, we can't pick just one, but Paula made me think...what is the greatest song of all time...my top five would be, Like a Rolling Stone, Freebird, Comfortably Numb, Let It be, and Tobacco Road. I could easily add 25 more, and argue with myself about the order. What's your fav ?? Edit, Stairway to Heaven, and Queen, We are the Champions, and Joan Jett, I luv RNR, Ebb tide sheet...I knew this would happen!! oh yeah Layla, and Dylan, "i Threw It all Away"
Actually, the greatest song ever sung was by David Allan Coe, "you don't call me by my name"...written by Steve Goodman.
Oh yeah, I saw Janis, Jimi, and Iron Butterfly in the late 60's.

But, the Oldies always brings me to the hard times, happy times, crying times, get tough times..................Can't beat the music of the 60's, 70's, some 80's. I can't even understand some of the music that our younger population listen to today.

1- a great love affair
2- a great love affair gone bad
3- a great love affair gone bad and someone's gonna die
