Well today is our Anniversary! Wow! Eight blessed, sweet, wonderful years! LOL.
I am so happy! I have been committed in a relationship for 8 years and he is still ALIVE! Who’d of thunk it? Surely, not I.
Do you have any wacky anniversary stories you can share. Mine isn’t that interesting but, it’s us to a T.
Lets see….Friday, we made plans to go to Myrtle Beach for the weekend, didn’t happen. I got my nails done, I even bought a Wig. Hey! It’s something new, and I look dam good in it. LOL.
My new name now is Samone, but only when wearing the wig. When the wig comes off its back to mommy and Mija….sigh….
I was really nervous about the wig deal because B.O.R.s doesn’t like fake stuff. Well to dang bad, I wanted to try something new, and to all you nay sayers….HE LOVES IT! A little too much if you ask me….
So after our plans fell through, we decided Sunday, we would get a babysitter and take in a movie and have a nice dinner. Didn’t happen. The youngest attached string wouldn’t stay over at the babysitters and Lord, knows after being kicked out of the movie theaters twice already we were not going to try that again.
So we brought the little one home, BOR went to play basketball with his friends, and I washed another load of clothes, fried some chicken and made a salad. Of course, the Wig came off! Samone has left the building!
Later last night, I had to go to RDU in the storm to pick my parents up from their anniversary trip to Vegas for the past week…(insert grumble, and jealousy here) well because it is now after midnight they decided they would spend the night instead of trekking it home in the storm. LOL. Imagine BOR face. He just knew he would have a night of bliss with Samone. NOT!
So because the elders are staying of course we had to give up the bedroom and BOR and I slept in the LR on the sofas. LOL…Poor thing was not a happy camper. After much begging and pleading for Samone to come out, which was not going to happen with Mummy and Daddy in the next room. The poor thing finally fell into a fitful sleep.
With today being the actual day, and both kids at home with the oldest being tracked out, and parents sleeping in our bed, BORs tucked his tail in and went to work. Poor baby…LOL, no ROFLMBO…You guys should have seen his face and demeanor. It was hilarious!
After all of this and our ruined plans would it be awful for me to inform him that Auntie Flo will be over for dinner this evening? Still ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!
