only from a child
Published Jun. 27, 2008It was late at night and father was out fishing and mother, who was expecting her second child, was home alone with her three-year daughter.
The woman started going into labour and so she called 9-1-1. Due to the power outage at the time, only one paramedic responded to the call.
The house was very,very dark, so the paramedic asked the three year old to hold a flashlight high over her mother so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.
Very diligently, the child did as she was asked. The mother laboured and pushed and, after a little while a new baby was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Conner began to cry.
The paramedic then thanked the child for her help and asked the wide-eyed three-year old what she thought about what she had witnessed.
She quickly responded: "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place. Smack him again!!
