something to ponder..

since I am supposed to be up and about and cooking this food for my party this afternoon, I figured I would stall and write a blog. I have been working very hard around the house - it seems like i am more productive when I am not earning a check at work. LOL. Anyway I have kept the house clean and the kids bathed and touched up stuff around the house. i am no handyman but I can read a book or manual and compute sums. So I have fixed certain things around here. Mygarage is becoming a gym/wharehouse/library. I have so many books from teaching that I have placed bookshelves in my garage. I bought a riding lawnmoxer and it is a throwback - looks very similar to the one forrest was riding on. so i look very nostalgic riding along at 1mph cutting my yard. I was even laughing at myself. Yesterday was a great moment however. My daughter and myself spent the afternoon/evening prearing marinades for the chicken/steaks and then she on her own prepared the desserts. (no bake oreo pie and no bake cheesecake) While we were doing this we were listening to Kids Only music choice channel. She would tell me the artist that was playing and we would sing. We even danced together on cha cha slide and electric slide and macarena. I do believe it will go down as one of my special memories. Oh well...Whitish! BACK TO WORK!!!!
