Published Jun. 25, 2008Charlotte-Mecklenberg school district wants to create an all-Spanish speaking school for illegals. Isn't that sweet? If Pat McCrory had any political sense he'd slam this proposal.

You English-only folks need to get over yourselves. FragmentFour
That's about the most retarded wasteful spending thing I've seen yet. If they are "well-educated and fluent legals" then THEY DON"T NEED a special school. Clearly their parents can teach them.
Or better yet, they can take extra curricular classes JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
Oh - and public school? "Well eductated" doesn't happen.
If you do something like this "just because" then you will have people saying" Why can't we have an all Russian school" or an "All Vietnamese school" or how about "All Arabic School" or Heck! "All Cantonese" since the Chinese pretty much own us anyway!!!

(Of course, since the ability to speak and understand english is a requirement for citizenship, you make a pretty good guess.)
Also - I assume this school's first order of business will be to teach these kids english. Do I have that wrong?
