dwi...true story

 2005 was a bad year for me. I , for whatever reasons,  involving, women, got two DWI's. I blame no one but myself. Fortunately, I hurt no one but my car.  The  cost in court and insurance is real bad...take a cab.

Hey Jack. It takes some courage for you to write this. My hat is off to you. I have been lucky, lucky, lucky. Great information. It scares me when I go out with the ladies, having a good time, drinks, etc...I always try to eat well before consuming too many. Still, too many get totally out of it and hit the road. Have a great one indeed.

chevy i am hard on anyone who drinks and drives...take a cab or get a dd...and if you are the dd...dont drink...last night we went out and got wasted...two of us...the dd...drank nothing. i had a friend killed, a friend crippled and another friends face busted up..cause of a drunk driver...all in one ...one accident...and i got this idiot friend who has money...he has had enought dwis..that he has the machine with the straw....he has to blow in...well he just got another dwi...about 4 months ago...he passed out at a traffic stoppage...cops thought he was asleep but nooooooooo he was drunk...again...how many chances does he get..cause he can afford to customize his car????

If you are going to drink, it is much safer and cheaper to do it in the confines of your home. The first step in the healing process is to admit there is a problem. My family survived a head-on crash with a drunk driver. Not sure we ever got over the emotional scars. Please do what you can to encourage others like yourself to stay sober on the road.

Quit being so hard on yourself. DUI laws are for insurance companies to make big money. How many people had DUI's with 2 beers? Those DUI tests are not accurate. 2 things this state needs to do 1. Say any alcohol on your breath is a DUI 2. Jail time for first offense and the insurance company cannot raise your rates. Second time is mandatory lose your license for a year with no appeal.

Its one big insurance fraud and the cops gets quota's to arrest DUI candidates. I don't know about you but I don't trust young cops who have no clue how to patrol or use common sense.

I think that you are to commended for taking a negative in your life and turning it into a positive by waning others not to make the same mistake. Everyone deserves a second chance, and everyone deserves to be forgiven. Living "in the past" or "in the land of what if" never accomplishes anything. We all learn from our mistakes as we move forward with our lives. Jack, you accepted responsiblity, made no excuses, and ask for forgiveness. A person such as that stands pretty tall, in my opinion!

easter sunday, early 1950's, a family gets in the car to visit family for easter. husband, wife, grandmother, and 3 siblings. head on collision by a drunk driver. there was only one survivor. 3 year old little girl, found her when cleaning up the accident hidden under the hood that flew off in the crash. little girl lost everyone but her grandpa and he was the only one who stayed home. this is a true story, the 3 year old little girl is my mother in law....i encourage everyone not to drink and drive, it changes lives for generations to come! jackadoo, hard lesson learned. and yes not only are you lucky but everyone traveling with their families that same afternoon is to and they dont even know it. thanks for advising the cab

hate all this has happened to you, jackadoo.............thank goodness you did not get hurt and you did not hurt anyone when you were driving under the influence. no one is perfect, and at least you seem to have learned from this bad and embarrasing experience. all of us have made mistakes that we had to face and i am proud of you for facing yours. and by the way-don't let any woman make you so upset/crazy that you risk your own life driving when you aren't supposed to. if she is that much trouble, you don't need her!! take care and chin up!
