update on the wedding

Well, the wedding was Saturday night as many of you know. It went perfect!!! We were able to get thru 90% of the ceremony before it started misting. The rain held out til we were all inside and even then it never down poured.
My neice was absolutely adorable as my flower girl. She's 4, but she was like a little professional, As I had said earlier, I wore my original gown. When we married 20 yrs ago, I used pearls, this time I wore the diamond "journey" necklace honey gave me for Christmas, and gold and diamond loop earrings. My bouquet was lillies, roses and lily of the vally, that had been dusted in a glitter called diamond dust. The setting was perfection. We had the archway with white lights, with candles burning as an accent. We had the trees scattered around the yard, with the Christmas tree lights so you couldn't see the bulb, just the glow, and we had 2 huge Boston ferns and 2 arrangements of cosmos and babies breath. We had put tealight candles in the pool and had those floating and lit. It was absolutely breath-taking. I was so happy it all fell into place as easy as it did. Hopefully, I will have my pics back soon. I will post them for you to see.
My father-in-law performed the service and we wrote our own vows (yes, I cried) we had the songs: Have I Told You Lately: Rod Steward, Love of My Life: Sammy Kershaw: Keeper of the Stars: Tracy Byrd and I walked out to: Look At Us: by Vince Gill.
Thank you to everybody that sent me greetings, etc. You are all so sweet.
