tab for easley's italian trip tops $100,000

Gov. Mike Easley's industry-hunting trip to Italy cost more than $100,000, with a chauffeured Mercedes accounting for about half of the tab, according to state records.
I guess I should not expect any better behavior from Prince Easley... the man of the people , you know. What incredible arrogance to waste 170K of YOUR money on a boondoggle to europe.
Of course, not to be outdone by the Pope, he made sure he leased a bulletproof Mercedes... something suitably large that his head and ego would fit into?
