big friggin spider!

This animated pic is the closest I have seen, but I dont have a photo yet b/c no one had a digital camera this morning and I googled brown recluse, wolf spider, and hobo spider and nothing came up like what I saw...ugh...i saw this HUGE spider this morning and my skin is still crawling!
It's body (legs not included) was approx. as fat as my index finger and about 1 1/2 inches long. It was very light brown and had thick legs that were light brown and appeared to have dark stipes on them. I dropped a board on it and sprayed it with hairspray and it still didnt die! I finally sprayed it with disinfectant cleaner about 20 times before it finally was still. A man that came in here scooped it up with a handful of paper towels and threw it away...He said he had never seen a spider with a body that large.
What kind of spider was it? I will continue googling...

How would you feel if something larger than you came along dropped a board on you and sprayed you with hairspray and then drowned you in disinfectant cleaner.

Might want to get the carcass down to the Museum of Natural History for them to look at, just in case we're about to get over run with something.

only two bad spiders both are indoors....brown recluse and the black widow....
