This is something the media threw it to make it look like he was speaking only about blacks, because he was in a large BLACK chruch.
“we need fathers to realize that responsibility does not end at conception.”
This is the quote that was taken directly from his speach! I am glad that he addressed ALL broken households!

Something else that was WRITTEN in by the media to throw off the general public into thinking this was about BLACKS! THEY (the media) put words into his mouth by saying he was addressing "topics confronting black leaders"

If you can't take the heat get out of the oven! Even if you don't want to hear it, IT IS TRUE! Oh yes, there are a lot of great black husbands and fathers...my husband is one of them! There are also a lot of single parent white families (My father left before I turned one)..but their statistics are NOT that great

THe only thing I wish he would've done differently is to have worked with the church or community leaders to form some kind of outreach to educate young men on fatherhood responsibilities and to show uninvolved fathers how to step it up and be a man!! Then, I'd be excited about this....
