snow of spring for all whois burden
Published Jun. 15, 2008I looked out today,at the twilight hour;The birds were stilled in snowy bowers,The world was white, neath skyes of gray.I saw the quince,bright and cheery yesterday,Bowing low under burdens, lain by God L ike a child beneath the chastening rod.
Today the storms of life, brought us down; We ceased to sing, put on a frown.Tomorrow, daylight will once more bring Sun so bright,signs of life and spring.Snow will melt,quince continue its bloom; No more burdens,not bowed down in gloom.Buttercups will lift their faces ad say--''Thank you,God, for the burdens of yesterday'.
As I looked out upon the snowy view, I dear frined,thought of you.Today was hard-- you are burden down; Please do not worry,don't wear a frown. Tomorrow will be brighter, you will sing, you'll see this not as the worst of things,But a lesson in life,brought by the chastening rod,Lifted just in time for you to see the love of God.
