on that i agree..its called being gutless and selling out to get the most votes or being "loved" by the press instead of being true to who you are. mccain is going to find out how much the press really loves this "maverick" senator from arizona soon. and by the way, i never said or implied that americans didnt have the right to be on the left side of the political spectrum.

I know that when I requested a copy of my birth certificate (Texas, 1943)because mine had been lost, I did not get an actual copy of the original. It may be that this is something similar.
However, I assure you that I am a natural born citizen - would I admit having been born in 1943 if it were not true?

Well, folks were convinced Cheney wasn't from Wyoming, since he lived in Texas but owned a home in Wyoming. Elizabeth Dole lived in NC just a week longer than needed to claim residency for election. Her mailing address is still the house she lives in with her Kansas husband in Washington, DC.
If you play the system 'just right', you can be from anywhere you want.
Which is why some say Bush isn't from Texas.
Because, as the ads say, "Texas: A Whole 'nother Country"

The 'Certificate of Live Birth' contains nothing that could be considered controversial. Some sample entries: #3. This Birth (box to check) Single, Twin, Triplet #9. Race of Father #10. Age of Father #11. Birthplace (of father) #12a Usual Occupation #12b. Kind of Business or Industry #14. Race of Mother #17a. Type of Occupation Outside Home During Pregnancy #17b. Date Last Worked #18a. Signature of Parent or Other Informant (with check box to signify which has signed)
