To remove toilet stains, sprinkle damp sponge with sand.
Clean bathroom fixtures with white vinegar.
Put soap slivers in a cup with a little water. After a couple of days, it's great as a liquid soap.
To unfog a mirror, blow a hair dryer at the mirror.

Gather shower curtains toward the middle, not back like cutains - lets air through and keeps mildew down.
Use light colored shower cutain - lets sun in to keep mildew down.
If must spray, use 50/50 cloox/water. Spray down shower firt, then clean rest of bathroom then rinse shower - needs time to work.
NEVER/ever use bleach with ammonia. It'll kill you.
Eliminate soap scum - use shower gels, not soaps. If you wouldn't put it in your hair, don't wash with it - it doesn't rinse off well.

My dad used to do that bar-to-liquid soap trick when I was growing up. It's kind of slimy and gross; I wouldn't recommend it.
