brewing software: do you use it?
by charlesboyerPublished Jun. 12, 2008
Ever since I went pretty much fully all-grain in my brewing, I have used a piece of software called ProMash to plan, track and evaluate my beers. Problem is, it hasn't been updated in five years and it is growing long in tooth.
The reason this is so is a darned good one: the software's author has a brain tumor and he is focusing on her. That in mind, I won't even write the guy and ask him what his plans are: they are his family and that's exactly what they should be.
Still, I wonder, have any of you folks ever used BeerSmith or any other brewing software? Your thoughts?
