ugh ... blech...and other assorted disgusted noises
Published Jun. 12, 2008So I woke up this morning with a plugged up head. My ears are all stuffed up and they ache. I took the dog out late and maybe I was allergic to the smoke or whatever, maybe that's why I woke up like this.
Slogged through the morning routine [which includes taking the dog out again] and left the house.
I don't know if any of you have see the movie Alpha Dog, but the soundtrack is awesome. I downloaded it last night and made a mix of Enemy & I by Lazarus, Bullet and a Target by Citizen Cope, Caribou Lou by Tech N9ne, Over the Rainbow by Eva Cassidy [who is sadly no longer alive], Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield, Got Money by Lil Wayne & T-Pain, Damaged by Danity Kane, Leavin by Jesse McCartney, Paralyzed, Explode, Higher, and Nil all by The Cardigans. It's a pretty nifty little CD.
So I rocked my way into work on that and had everyone starin at me. Here's this little white girl rockin out to Got Money. It was ... interesting.
I mosey on into work and as soon as I opened the door, I knew there was trouble. It was hotter and muggier INSIDE the building than it was outside.
So now we have a GIANT fan in the lobby, two more in the back ... and we're trying to survive.
As of right now there is no time of repair...I am stickin to my desk AND to my chair...and that rhymed lol
Hope you guys don't have to get out in this nastiness...it is disgusting.. blergh
