bumper stickered cars
Published Jun. 10, 2008I was on I-40 this morning on my way to work and I saw this car on the highway. Everyone's going 65-80mph and this cars going like 50-55mph and is covered withliberal bumper stickers.
Why is it that when you see a car with more than 2 bumper stickers it is usually left-wing, liberal slogans? I mean, what is it with liberals and creating a scene while ruining their cars by covering them with bumper stickers? I don't get it
And do the stickers somehow make the cars go slower? What's up with that.
Anyone have any insight on this one?

I figure people who have to resort to using bumper stickers to communicate don't have the skills/sense I want to listen to.
Trouble is, my democrat BObama has a huge lead.
I also count yard and roadside signs, and again, Obama is in the lead.
I remember my first ever bumper sticker
-- SUPPORT MENTAL HEALTH OR I'LL KILL YOU --
that was on my '60 VW bug, but I've grown up a lot, I hope.
"Obama in O8" with all the blue, well, that's a bit too cute to me.
In 2012, it'll read,
"Bring Barack Back for four more"

I love those cars, no power though. I believe they only have somewhere around 75 hp. If will maintained these engines can go 350,000 to 500,000 on the very high side. However once they go I've never seen one successfully rebuilt they always seem to smoke afterwards and don't seem to last long it's like the rings don't seat well or something, I don't know. My favorite car that the 4ac was found in was the 84- 86 corolla sr5 two door. however the gts whith the 4fe was better. It was the last rwd corolla made. Fun to drive good on gas and dependable. Good blog getright, thanks. Sorry for contaminating it with the dumb liberal comment it was fairly clean until I did that.

That would make a good bumper sticker.
innocent bystander
LOL...I love ironic bumper stickers!
BTW, perhaps there are just more liberal bumper stickers on the market? Maybe that's why there are more on the road?
Or perhaps more liberals drive older, POS cars and don't care about ruining the paint so they can add all the bumper stickers they want? I've always gotten around the paint issue by only putting stickers on the back window of my car. Sure, I can't see to back up, but that is a small price to pay to get my point of view to the masses!!
