trailer park drama
Published Jun. 3, 2008OMG.. I am sitting in my home (which happens to be a trailer) making some hotel reservations and someone knocks on my door. Scares the crud out of me because the only person that comes to my door is the pizza guy, and i did not order a pizza. None the less I answer only to see a Wake County Sheriff standing on my steps. He asks if I have seen the neighbor lately, I tell him no. I work all day and was in and out all weekend, not to mention the fact I really do not pay attention. We have always stuck to our selves and minded our own beez wax, I know little about my neighbors and I am actually glad of that. EVERY window in the trailer is broken out and I know her son (in his thirties) has mental problems. I heard yelling about two weeks ago and listened for a few, hoping I would hear something that would make me call the cops. I did not so I checked back in a 1/2 and hour and heard nothing. We own our trailer but rent 3/4 an acre. So when I sent my rent payment in for the land I wrote the landlord about the recent problems. Soo after the cops go back to beating on the door trying to get an answer, I go over to the stool pidgeons across the street and find out they called the landowner and asked him to call the cops. The ladies car apparently has not moved in 4 days. Even though they live across the street apparently they hear them arguing all night long, I guess I sleep through it. Anyhow cops go in and say the place is trashed they see nothing that indicates someone is there. I ask what do we do if there are still no signs of life in a week, he says there is nothing else they can do until a family member reports them missing. I am probably living next to a rats nest with two dead bodies in it.. Try to call hubby to tell him, and there he says there is a tornado warning (indiana), then abrubtly says o crap I gotta go. COULD I have some more drama in my life???
