yet another illegal alien story . . .

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Denver man who is pushing a ballot measure to have the city form an "ET Commission" showed video of what he says is an alien Friday morning at a news conference. Reporters were allowed to view the video, but only a still image of it was released to the media.
Jeff Peckman said aliens visit his friend Stan Romanke all the time.
Romanke, who lives in Colorado Springs, allegedly recorded the alien video while living in Nebraska.
The pair has a deal with a documentary company for the rights to the video.
"Not all wrinkly like ET, the extraterrestrial, just youthful, smooth skin, large wide kind of eyes," said Peckman.
Romanke has posted drawings of the aliens he reportedly sees on his Web site.
A scientist at the University of Colorado told CBS4 life elsewhere in the Universe is possible, but hard to prove.
"Unless we see it on another planet, it would be very hard to convince ourselves it is extraterrestrial and came from somewhere else," said Bruce Jakosky, director of the Center for Astrobiology at CU.
Peckman claimed there is a government conspiracy to hide evidence of aliens.
Many at Friday's news conference said more analysis is needed on the video. Other's said it looked like a common extraterrestrial hoax.
I'm sorry, but I just don't see an alien in this picture. Anybody?
Do you think we're being "visited"?

One of my biggest problems with the government conspiracy theory(ies) lies in my ability to believe the government could even begin to hold a secret together long enough for a conspiracy to form. Particularly in the days of cell phone photos.
But let the man push his ET Commission idea - there are worse things cities spend their money on. Stan Romanke has my sympathy.

The mind can create many things for nothing, especially when there are preconceived ideas planted. ;)
Do I think there is life beyond our planet - yes!

Tell me, if creatures come from out of space, will they be treated as, and called, ILLEGAL ALIENS?
