I thoroughly enjoyed Harvey and Tim on Carol Burnett, my favorite skit was when Tim would come out wearing shoes on his knees like he was really short, dancing back and forth singing "Short People!" What made it so hilarious to me was watching Harvey try not to laugh, great entertainer!!!!
As Carol always sang at the end of each show, "Thanks for the memories," Godspeed Mr.Korman..............
Hubby got to see The Carol Burnett Show live years ago, and said it was a riot. Harvey, and Tim both would mess with the audience when they weren't taping. Harvey also did many voices for cartoon as well. I'm going to miss him.
I would suggest if you really want to have a good laugh too, go to Youtube and do a search on Tim Conway and Harvey Korman...find the clip on the Dentist visit, with Conway as Dentist and Korman as patient. Classic.
very funny man, he will be missed greatly. I watched the Carol burnett Show all the time. It was always a hoot watching to see when Harvey would lose it and crack up laughing at Tim Conway.
He was sooo good. And he will be missed. But my favorite memories of him are when he was trying to keep a straight face when Tim Conway went on an adlib tour de force on the old Carol Burnette show. I don't know what was funnier... Conway, or Korman trying to keep it together......
