This past Friday my science class did an experiment to see how it would feel acclimatizing to a new altitude level. First,my class was split up into two groups and both had to climb up three stair levels. One group would just climb up the steps normally and the other would have to climb breathing through a straw and holding their noses. As you should know Chip had to acclimatize to the thin air on Everest before he could summit(which he did!!!)
I was in the group that had the straw and let me tell you, breathing through a little straw is not fun. After I got to the second level of stairs breathing was quite difficult. I give Chip props for being able to consume very thin oxygen on Mt.Everest.
