how are you saving money?

With the surge in fuel, food, and taxes, what have you been doing to save money? Over the past few months I have made these adjustments:
- Cheaper home insurance - changed company, but kept same coverage.
- Car insurance - raised my deductibles
- Resetting my mortgage (cheaper interest rate)
- Eliminated once a month eating out; only do birthdays and other special occasions.
- Adjusted thermostat by 1 degree cooler in winter; 2 degress warmer in summer - not sure of savings cost rates have changed.
- I only drive when absolutely necessary. Perhaps this saves me two tanks of gas over a year.
- Use more coupons than I used to use.
- Bring my lunch to work - using leftovers from dinner.
- Reduced food costs eating more chicken (getting sick of chicken)
So what might be left. At this point I can only eliminate things. I am considering getting rid of cablevision. I do not have a cell phone, so I can't save in that area. Considering getting rid of the internet.
Where have you trimmed costs? Perhaps there are things I might have overlooked.

HOA's cannot prevent a satellite dish from being put in service:
http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html
"he rule (47 C.F.R. Section 1.4000) has been in effect since October 1996, and it prohibits restrictions that impair the installation, maintenance or use of antennas used to receive video programming. The rule applies to video antennas including direct-to-home satellite dishes that are less than one meter (39.37") in diameter (or of any size in Alaska), TV antennas, and wireless cable antennas. The rule prohibits most restrictions that: (1) unreasonably delay or prevent installation, maintenance or use; (2) unreasonably increase the cost of installation, maintenance or use; or (3) preclude reception of an acceptable quality signal."

There will be no more splurging at the stores anymore. Running out of money is NOT something I want to experience. My job is in jeopardy because business is the worst it's ever been in the history of the company. I may be job-looking soon if they keep on pushing me towards the door as they have been lately....
