Hey Yukon, Sorry I didn't answer sooner, went to a friends for supper. My daughter was there with the First Baptist Church there, not with Whitestone(I've not heard of them)We have a friend there that's the associate pastor. She went up there for 2 weeks and helped with Vacation Bible school.

It is very pretty down by Delta. I know quite a few people that live down there. It is located right by the Alaska Range and the mountains just south of there are just breathtaking!! The one downside of Delta for me is....the Milepost, the magazine/map of the road system of Alaska and the roads through Canada leading here says the wind blows at least 60 MPH at least once every month in Delta. It is just where the mountains channel the winds when they blow from the south and they just whip through that area!! Just out of curiousity Mojo, was your daughter in any way involved with Whitestone? They own land and have bought almost all the few businesses in Delta. They are a (my opinion) commune. I dont have much use for them, but they are certainly within their rights to have a Waco type commune down there if they want. They seem to do really well economically, but seem an awfull like the folks at Waco or some of the other religious communes nationwide.

My boss is going on an Alaskan cruise in June. Manager's trip...a whole week! Maybe he'll take some pics and I'll post them...

Yukon...thank you for sharing a part of your life. It's nice to get a glimpse of things I will never see in person!

Hey greg, lets do a golo cruise thing to alaska!! Then if someone ticks us off we can just throw them overboard and know one would know who did...J/K.....I DO really want to go one day!
