why are housecats psycho?
Published May. 17, 2008A bit of a lighter topic. I am making a cup of coffee. The cat struts into the kitchen and gives me that "Well I came all the way in here, so give me something you stupid human look". Once in a while I will give this crazed animal a bit of half and half. I pour a little in the cat's dish. He walks over and starts drinking. Suddenly, as if some demon from below appeared in his dish; he does one of these four-legged sproing moves straight up about two feet off the floor, and proceeds to tear out of the kitchen at top speed. It is particularly hysterical, because on the kitchen floor he can't get traction so the first gallops, his feet are going, but he is not. I have no idea what spooked him, but it sure was fun to watch that little episode.
