the things we remember...

Published May. 16, 2008

Years ago I went and watched a movie that covered a whole range of related subjects. I wont even mention the name of the movie. But it had several stars, including Woody Allen, Gene Wilder..I think even Burt Reynolds was in it. O.K. I will mention it, "Everything you wanted to know about Sex but were afraid to ask." Anyway,  there was this one segment that told the story of man who fell from grace  and ended up destitute, homeless and  drinking Woolite to get high. You had to see the movie to get what I'm saying. But it was totally funny.

I wont even mention the giant mammary that was crawling about, attacking unsuspecting men and drowning them...until it was corralled by a giant brassiere, stretched between two trees. Whew. The things we remember.

Getting back to Gene, yes he's the fellow that fell from grace...this picture popped up tonight and it reminded me of Gene and his consort in the movie. Like I said earlier, you had to see the movie to really get the humor. Whew. The things we remember...

If anybody talks to that sheep, she's a damm liar!

Any time you post a pic of a sheep around here, you have to expect this sort of thing...

LOL...My son just walked in the lving room and I pointed out this blog to him. He just kind of stared at a moment or two and then as he turned and walked away he gave me his impression soto voce, "It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it's told...It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."

That was a great movie.

Cute sheep. Does she have a sister?

OMG I remember laughing at this movie until I was in stitches!! And trying to tell someone about it is impossible. The best was the scene when the shepherd tells Gene Wilder that he's in love with his sheep. The look on his face is priceless.

Thanks for a much needed laugh, OR!

Susan

I believe this was one of the first "rated" movies I went to. Wasn't what I expected but it was still pretty funny. Nowadays it wouldn't raise on eye on cable or late night comedy shows.

I vaugely remember seeing this movie. I sneaked and watched it I think. I remember the sheep, and also the segment of the woman who was only aroused when in public. I remember the couple stepping behind a panel in a dept store and there a whole lotta banging going on!!!! Hee hee

The scene with the paratroopers is utterly hilarious...even if Woody Allen is one of the most irritating actors I have ever seen.

If "clothes make the man", I suppose it follows, "lipstick, lingerie and heels make the lady"? Hey, not baaaaaaaaad for a Friday morning.

I saw the movie. ROFL at the sheep...
