i'm a little upset. i just found out bruster is on the line up.

I know I shouldn't be getting upset, but...........well, I am. My mother just went to the Wake County Animal Shelter to visit with Bruster and, according to what she was told, Bruster is "on the lineup." Not for tomorrow, but obviously, very soon.
Needless to say, I'm at my wits end. I've placed an ad in The News & Observer, which has run since yesterday and will continue though Sunday I'm just so upset. I want him to find a home, but it isn't looking very good.
For those that pray, please say a prayer for him. Thoughts and prayers are what he needs.

Every time I see humans that treat animals this way or abandon them I just get so emotional. I always wanted a pet when I was little but couldn't have one (family allergies). I'm getting so excited now that I'm about to get my own puppy. =)

tgodfrey2, while you give great advice and I see where you're coiming from, it's not that simple. I can't just "keep him at home til he gets a home." It sounds nice, but in reality, which is what I have to deal with, we simply can't take him. I can still feel and be, passionate about something, but that doesn't mean I can "automatically" do something about it.
