I wish you would have asked Bush supporters that question eight years ago. This country was based on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Bush seems to have forgotten that (or more likely, he never learned it) Who needs to follow the Constitution when all you want is to get even with the guy who mocked your father, right?

Condi Rice is a state department 'underling'? Wow, you sure don't have a lot of respect for Bush's cabinet members.

No, a follish delusion is believing that back door state department underlings carry the same weight and effect as a face-to-face meeting with the POTUS.
If that is your position, then I have good news - it is safe to say you could never be convicted of capital murder in the state of NC.

If that is truly your position, then you should have serious problem with the other candidates as well since they have done the same to each other and to the sitting President

The falsehood lies in Bush's double standards. His speech is a perfect example of Bush and his administration doing saying one thing and doing the opposite.
Bush called it a "foolish delusion" to think the U.S. can negotiate with terrorists. If so, why are his secretaries of state and defense pushing for talks with Iran? Why did the U.S. negotiate with Libya?
Looks like Bush thinks some things are right when his administration does it, but when others do it, he thinks it's bad.

"We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is - the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history." - chris234
If this is all Bush said (which as much as I hate to say it, he's right) LOL then Obama is just being whiny. Especially since he didn't call out Obama directly.
If he can't handle that? Then how is he going to be able to handle it from foreign countries? Cry?
