unc - rain is most appropriate...

UNC held graduation outside in Kenan Stadium, in hte rain, while the Dean Smith Center sits empty and dry. Why? There are reasons of planning and logistics, costs, and wishful weather thinking, but one more...
Eve Carson is remembered today as she gets her well earned diplomas post-obitum, and rain, to me, seems most appropriate for such severe matters. Sunny days are taken for granted, but rainy days like this, make for fitting memories of a loss, a loss of promise, and makes for those graduating to keep in mind what they have to appreciate -- life!
All the good her dedication and determination and discipline would have brought to the world is gone but for the inspiration gained by her classmates. Congratulations to those who denied themselves to stay in school and study, those who delayed gratification by premature pleasures and are graduating.
There truly is a struggle between good and evil in this world.
