I realize there are only 12 of us here, so I will repeat this blog next week. My gf/fiancee puts her daughter/granbabby totally first. I don't wish to whine, but where does the proposed new hubby fit in? I guess me and da dog will be fine, though we need a hug.

Why do you say the kid and grandkid come first?

I think that you should sort this out before you go getting married. It's not at all unusual for a woman to put her daughter and grandbaby first. As long as you come a close second, she loves you, and really, that's more than many people have in this world.
I would talk to her though. Clearly it does bother you, and maybe there's a compromise in there someplace.
