And how? How will he benefit our country single handedly? Because many people do a lot of talking during an election year, and people don't stop to ask themselves "HOW" are they going to do it, and then they are confused when it doesn't get done. So how? How is this man going to make this country so much better? Universal healthcare? That certainly isn't good for this country (ask anyone in Canada). Wait, I heard he is going to clothe and feed people in Africa, so I can see how that would be good for the people here. Wait, more handouts for people that do nothing!! Or going up head to head with OPEC? Sorry, I just have not heard anything that he has said that he could actually DO, just a lot of talk and a lot of promises (he's still just a politician)

Apparently, there are more educated people in North Carolina now!

People smart enough to vote for someone who will actually benefit our Country... how's that for a simple, honest answer?

What scares me (and scares me bad) is that too many people are voting just because he is a black man, and they have NO CLUE about his past, what he stands for, his beliefs, his history, etc. They believe anything he or the liberal media says, they spin everything and they are voting based on the color of his skin (can we be setback any further with that mentality?). These people are going to vote a man they know nothing about into one of the most powerful positions in the world. The fact that this doesn't scare the bejeesus out of people is beyond me. There are just way too many questions that are still unanswered to put this man in such a powerful position. I couldn't care less about the color of his skin, it's everything else that scares me, and as an American, I'm ashamed that more people aren't thinking and doing research and just voting on skin color alone. Very scary.

"Yeah. Those college students sure are smart -- they just know it all. Also their professors who never actually leave school to go into the real world, just simply happy to stay in their faculty lounge echo chambers."

this always amuses me. those who think that all college students are brainwashed liberals who are only "book-smart", and the professors are all eccentric liberal loonies. i think it's usually a defense of people who never attended college.

This entire election has been Hillary Clinton's to lose. She grabbed all of the 'big money' early on, leaving little room for other candidates. Unfortunately for her, Obama seems to have gotten around that.

There is no way that she would take a Vice Presidency.

It will be fascinating seeing who Obama and McCain choose as running mates. I suspect this choice will be very important this election cycle -- more so than in previous elections.

"yep, brainwashed by education. it's a dirty tool."

Yeah. Those college students sure are smart -- they just know it all. Also their professors who never actually leave school to go into the real world, just simply happy to stay in their faculty lounge echo chambers.

Remember -- to liberals, an college "education" is a goal. To conservatives, it is a means to the next step, which usually involves lifelong learning -- about things that are actually important. Beware of anyone with a degree in "(fill in the blank) Studies".

"He was heavily favored not only among blacks, but among college students who have been somewhat brainwashed into the whole entitlement system of belief."

yep, brainwashed by education. it's a dirty tool.

I am Black but I DID NOT vote for him.

I didn't vote for him and I don't like him.

If race isn't an issue, then shouldn't we expect a fairer division of the black vote? BHO got 91 percent of the black vote. That tells me that they were the racists and simply voted for him b/c he is 1/2 black.
