NEW YORK (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama is moving away from the Rev. Jeremiah Wright so fast he may claim to be an atheist by next weekend. The ongoing sprint from such a polarizing figure is far from a surprise, it's just the timing of it that is so odd...

She made (what appeared to be a sarcastic) comment directed at something I said and I retorted.
Her response - to belittle and call names. Apparently that is all she knows how to do. It can't be as simple as someone misunderstood her implications.
And BTW- I do care about how things are in other countries... I.E My HUGE Darfur post? I don't know what your problem is, but if you don't like what people have to say about your comments, I suggest you not be posting on a PUBLIC blog.
But keep it up with the name calling and the belittling... people can see you for who you are.

That local popularity does not transfer to the national level where the population as a whole is much different than that small community.
I don't know that the association was wrong per se, on some levels it does make sense, but Obama should have been aware a long time ago that this wouldn't be a good fit on a national level. He should have known two years ago that it would be necessary to distance himself from the Wright Reverand.
