In my science class, we watched a video all about glaciers. The video made the ice falls and crevasses seem very insignificant. The crevasses especially are a huge challenge for climbers on Everest. The Sherpas have to constantly move the ladders reaching from one side of the crevasses to the other, because the cracks move as they heat up and cool down.
