update on husbands angioplasty
Published Apr. 15, 2008Thanks to all of you who prayed and showed concern for my husband. I think the Drs. have figured out what the problem is. He had angioplasty done to both legs during the past two weeks. One leg one week, the other the next week. The first leg did fine and he noticed a marked improvement. The second leg began to swell up and turn red and was very painful. After spending Thursday night at the emergency room, and all day Friday at the hospital for testing, they sent him home with some {lots} of percocet and said they didn't know what was wrong with it.
Well, he went to his vascular Dr yesterday and he said, that because the veins in that leg were so closed up that that leg hasn't been getting any blood or oxygen for a long time, and now that it is, it is having a reaction. The leg seems to be getting better everyday. The Doctor says it should be good as new in a few weeks.
So again, thanks to everyone for your concern, and prayers.
