Ludlow teams up with a young Robbery Homicide Detective to track Washington's killers through the diverse communities of Los Angeles. Their determination pays off when the two detectives track down Washington's murderers and confront them in an attempt to bring them to justice.

Just as he begins a relationship with a former student (Sarah Jessica Parker), Lawrence's ne'er-do-well brother (Thomas Haden Church) lands on his doorstep. Lawrence realizes he must make some changes in his life and reconnect with his children in order to get on with his life.

Off they go to the island of Neverland where they encounter the Lost Boys, the exotic princess Tiger Lily, the dreadful Captain Hook and his band of pirates.
